You don't have to travel all the way to Japan for a delicious bowl of ramen. We offer fantastic classes where you can learn from experienced chefs how to make fresh noodles, get tips on creating the perfect broth and toppings, and even find out about the history of ramen around the world.
Practical sessions in the class involve hands-on learning, where students get to prepare and cook under the guidance of the author. This includes techniques for achieving a clear yet robust broth, kneading and rolling dough for noodles, and tips for cooking them to perfection. Students also experiment with different toppings, such as chashu (braised pork belly), ajitama (seasoned soft-boiled eggs), and various vegetables, learning how to prepare each element with care. Throughout the course, the author encourages creativity and experimentation, allowing students to develop their unique style of ramen. By the end of the class, students not only gain a deep understanding and appreciation of ramen but also acquire the skills to create their gourmet bowls, bringing a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine into their homes.
